About

IT ALL STARTED WITH NUMBER 18
UNRVLD started with me simply being a hockey dad who loved creating.
People would come to me with an idea and ask if I could design a championship ring, create a summer-team jersey or turn something they were imagining into a real mock-up. At first, that was all it was—helping people bring their ideas to life.
Then someone looked at a design I had created and said, “This is perfect. Now I just need to find someone who can make it.”
Without thinking too much about it, I told them, “I can get it made.”
The truth was, at that moment, I had absolutely no idea how I was going to do that.
That answer forced me to put in the extra work. I began researching manufacturers, sourcing products, learning how everything was produced and figuring out how to turn a design on a screen into something an athlete could actually wear, hold or be proud to display.
One or two orders quickly became 30 or 40, and UNRVLD began becoming something much bigger than I originally imagined.
My goal is to build UNRVLD into a sustainable family business with strong, lasting client relationships. I don’t want someone to place one order and disappear. I want to become the person teams, associations and organizations trust and continue coming back to season after season.
That personal relationship is what separates UNRVLD from many of the larger suppliers. When you have a question or a problem, you know who you’re speaking with—and you know you’ll receive an answer. As UNRVLD grows, that personal attention and commitment to quality will never be sacrificed.
I also hope to pass this business on to my son one day. He has already started creating designs and mock-ups of his own. Some of the Team Canada jerseys featured in our Jersey Vault are actually his concepts. As a U14 AA hockey player, he has an incredible eye for what young athletes want and understands what feels exciting before it becomes a trend. His voice is something I value, and I want to continue giving him space to create.
Ultimately, I would love for my entire family to become part of UNRVLD and help build something that can sustain us for generations.
I wake up thinking about this business. Even while working another full-time job, I’m constantly designing, imagining and thinking about what UNRVLD could create next. I genuinely love seeing an athlete’s face light up when they pull a new jersey over their head, discover the small details hidden throughout its design, hold their championship ring for the first time or feel the weight of a medal they earned around their neck.
Those moments are why I do this.
This is something I could happily do for the rest of my life—and that is the future I’m determined to build with UNRVLD.

What I believe
Four rules, no exceptions
01
Hands-on, start to finish
First sketch, colour direction, production checks, delivery. You deal with me — not a queue.
02
Quality and cost don’t have to fight
Budget shapes the design, it doesn’t cheapen it. I’ll tell you where to spend and where not to.
03
Identity, not garments
The goal isn’t selling shirts. It’s kids wanting to belong to the organization on the crest.
04
Anything within reason
If you can describe it, we can usually find a way to make it real.
How it goes
From thought to real thing
- 01IdeaYou talk, I listen. Half sentences and phone photos are fine.
- 02DesignDirections on screen fast — real mockups, not mood boards.
- 03RefineWe push it until the room says yes. No design-by-committee mush.
- 04ManufactureHands-on through production. Quality checked, not assumed.
- 05DeliverBoxes open, kids react. That part never gets old.
